Question   A respite.
I have to come to your web-site every now and then for some peaceful viewing and appreciation of your art.

Answer Thanks, Genie. I'm looking forward to getting back to shooting which I find a peaceful respite. I'm delighted so far with the results of my first knee replacement and looking forward to having the other one done this month. Then I'll really be able to enjoy getting back to the great outdoors!

Question   Beautiful Work.
Great electronic portfolio. Do you have any images of East Sound or Olga in the San Juans, They are two of my favorite places to visit. You were always very talented, I just didn't know about the photography. Your old friend.

  Answer Hi Don,

Great to hear from you. Thanks for the kind words. I haven't spent any time photographing on Orcas yet but have a good buddy photographer that lives there so I keep meaning to do some work out there. I loved those places from my boating days too. Hope all is well with you.

Question   Refreshes my Spirit
Hi Teryl,

I so much enjoy your work - how you capture the real 'spirit' of what you are seeing and then, because of your skill, I can feel the same 'spirit'.

I especially like the NW photos. Makes me home sick.

Thanks for letting us enjoy your work.

Your friend from the 60's.

Question   Your photography
Dear Teryl,

God has gifted you with an incredible eye for seeing and the talent to capture His creations to share with us. Thank you so much. Such fantastic beauty from the vast expanses to the minute! "God said, 'Let there be light'." And Teryl took her camera and caught it for all to see! WOW!

Your friend,
Carol Galyean

Question   Yeah, more Palouse!
I'm so glad to see more Palouse at a different time of year. All of the farm shots make me envy those who get to live in such picturesque places year-round, but then again, I'm sure they look at the same landscape with pride and sore bones because every line on the rolling hills represents a lot of sweat. Your portfolio of the Cascades is breathtaking. The colors are so vibrant, you must have cheated, or nature reserves its finest palate for you. Crisp, clear, and absolutely beautiful.

Question   What a wonderful "gallery walk".
Dear Teryl: Having seen most of your images in your albums, it is still a treat to wander through your collection and marvel at your talent. What I particularly enjoy are the artistic views of nature that you so eloquently capture with your camera. Such an eye for composition you have. If only my painting was as good as your photography! Thank you for sharing this website with all of us. You have a God-given talent. Love, genie mickelson

Question   Just visiting
Teryl - I come back to your images whenever I need a fix of the Pacific NW - my soul got left there while my body is stuck here in Kansas. Thanks for the inspiration!
